Mendy Fry (aka “Nitro Kitty”) races the McCain’s Bomb Squad Nitro Funny Car in the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series. Among a litany of acheivements on the drag strip, she is the only distaff drag racer to record a 5-second 1/4 mile elapsed time in a front-engined Top Fuel dragster, as well as the only female member of the exclusive “Nostalgia Top Fuel 250 mph Club”.

Hi Mendy! Word has it that you and the Bomb Squad will be at the Cruizin For Life car show/burnout contest in Santa Maria, CA on Sep. 26-27. I want to start spreading the word around about this great charitable event but didn’t want to say anything that I shouldn’t. We’ll be there with our A/GS ’57 Chevy as we have been for the last few years. Hope to see you then.
